Do you ever have a week that works out perfectly? No? me either. It never fails, there is always something that comes up that makes it hard to stick with the real food weekly meal plan. When this happens I don't get upset because I know that I can use those same ingredients the next week, nothing will go to waste. It also saves me money the following week because I don't need to purchase as many items for meals.
Last week the Dijon Mustard Chicken was a favorite of the whole family, it was super easy and could be made for a crowd. What was your favorite meal from last week's meal plan?
REAL FOOD Meal Plan
Monday: I never go to the Chicken Enchiladas with Avocado Corn salad so I will make that for tonight's dinner. This is also going to be simple because the shredded chicken is all prepared from last week's Tacos.
Tuesday: is by far my busiest day of the week. When I have busy days I love to get the crock pot out. I've been craving Chicken Curry and my husband actually asked for it the other night so that is what's on the menu for Tuesday. I will make enough to freeze a batch for another meal down the road.
Wednesday: Trying out Musings Of A Housewife's Tried and True Tilapia Parmesan - looks amazing!
Thursday: I really wanted to try out the Asian Wraps but baseball games got in the way so we are attempting this again. Tuesdays seem pretty calm and I have time to prepare meals that may take a bit longer
Friday: Leftover night - We are meeting friends for dinner so the boys are on their own with a babysitter. I am sure their will be some sort of leftovers for them to have for dinner.
Saturday: We will be attending The Walden School Bid, Sip and Celebrate which will serve dinner. I will have the babysitter order pizza for the boys.
Sunday: We have been working hours in our garden on Sundays which is why I've had every intention to get my crock pot meal prepared in the morning so that we could easily have a no fuss dinner. Well, that plan didn't workout so well this past week so I promised myself that I WILL make the Cajun Slow Cooker Stew - please encourage me to stick with the plan :)
So what's on your menu for the week, share your favorite real food meals within the comment section below. You can also become inspired by heading over to Musings of a Housewife and see all the different meals that people post on her blog for Monday Menu Planning .
