Well my meal plan for last week was almost a complete bust. Out of the 7 meals I planned I made only 4 of them, does that happen to you often? I have to say that if I make all of the 7 meals I plan it's been a good week. Things just come up which is OK so I then just save the meal for the next week. What happens in your house when you miss a planned meal? Do you freeze the meat and start a whole new plan for the next week or just roll over the previous week's plan?

 Weekly Meal Plan

Monday: We didn't get to the Pasta with Sausage and Leeks so we will be having that tonight

Tuesday: The Fish is still in the freezer but I used the peas when I made Turkey Shepard's Pie so we will have
Potato-Horseradish Crusted Mahi Mahi served with french green beans.

Wednesday: Never made the Sausage and Sweet Potato Mash. I will use the Sweet Potatoes this week for my breakfast or lunch and the sausage will be used for dinner in a Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup - I will make a big batch so I can freeze the leftovers for another meal.

I will be heading to Dallas TX for Blissdom on Thursday morning so my husband is in charge of meals for himself and the boys on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I will purchase some easy things for him to make like Applegate Hot Dogs and Sweet Potato Fries, Turkey Meatballs from Trader Joes and pasta, and stuff for them to make pizza's another night. On Sunday the day I come home I am sure we will be ordering out because I will not want to cook and neither will my husband.

So what's on your Menu for this week? Please share your ups and downs with your menu planning, because it's always good to know your not alone!
